Fall brings changes; in our case, some big ones!
Dear OGT Inns’ Guests,
This weekend, we announce some news about the Inn At Perkins Cove and Perkins Cove Kitchen. The building is due to be purchased next week and this will be the last weekend that OGT Inns is attached to the inn. In addition, PCK will no longer exist in its current form moving forward. We wish the new owners much success in the future.
The decision to sell the property was not one taken lightly. We did not have the building for sale and received an off-market offer. In the end, we had to consider all the options and what was best for all moving forward. While conflicted, we saw a path forward that meant refocusing the business and our team’s energy on a better and more improved experience at our remaining inns moving forward.
The Inn At Perkins Cove holds a special place in my heart. The team and I have put a lot of blood, sweat, and tears in to making this the best possible inn we could dream. We accomplished so much and we had dreams of the future. I remind myself that it is just a building and hospitality businesses buy and sell properties all the time, but for me this has been more than just a building. My goal in owning and operating inns has always been about something greater and that is the guest experience.
