Gravel pads are going in!

Also, we are still searching for the perfect host for Greenwood Lake RV Resort.

We are offering a free RV site plus all utilities.

The primary role is to just be present at the property. There will be very few additional duties required.

The ideal candidate is a person or couple who can be present on site for most of the day such as a retiree. We are not looking for people with full time jobs elsewhere.

We will do a background check and will not accept any criminal history. We also will only allow newer model RVs owned by the host.

Greenwood Lake is Back! Announcing Grand Reopening as an RV Resort.

After 31 years, we're thrilled to announce that Greenwood Lake is reopening its gates to welcome guests once again.

First opened to the public in 1912, Greenwood Lake served generations of visitors until 1995. JB and Jo Bennett called this place home for decades, raising their family here and caring for the property until they passed in 2016 and 2023. In 2022, Jo and her son Bo wrote a book documenting the lake's remarkable history—a story of constant reinvention and survival.

True to that legacy, the Bennett family is now reimagining Greenwood Lake as a full-service RV Resort. Come enjoy:

Soft Reopening — Now Accepting Reservations!

Mark your calendars! Our soft reopening is Saturday, May 2nd — the first night overnight stays will be available. Reservations are open right now for long term stays only. This soft opening period will be geared toward longer-term stays as we get our operations running smoothly and put the finishing touches on the resort.

While our primary focus during this phase will be extended stays, in the future we do intend to welcome nightly and weekly guests as well. We'll make an announcement when that opens up!

A Note on the Lake:
During construction and renovation of the park, the lake was intentionally lowered to allow for necessary repairs and infrastructure work. Lake levels currently remain well below normal — we wanted to be upfront about that so guests know what to expect.
