When your last tenants leave and you get to wrap up the season with sweet treats from a local chocolatier! 👩‍🍳😘 Thank you to all our “beach family” for making this year amazing!!

Update from Bert’s: we made it through this afternoon’s high tide with a wave or two rolling over Auntie A’s patio, but not making it to the cottage. The wind is fairly gusty. There’s been some siding casualties! All and all so far, so good! The town beach… that might be a different story. The new gazebo is on its own island.

It’s a bit of an eerie morning on the sound. The water looks like it’s lite by moon glow… photos don’t do it justice. It seems like it might be a good day for tea and book! ❤️
