At the Red Squirrel Lodge, every effort has been made to provide convenience, comfort, and atmosphere for a relaxing seaside family vacation... Spring, Summer, Fall and holidays. The Red Squirrel Lodge, a seaside family retreat located in the exclusive Grand Beach section of Old Orchard Beach, is a spacious eight bedroom, three bath lodge which has been specially designed for large family groups.

The beach, considered by many to be the best section of the seven miles of sandy shoreline along Saco Bay, is just a short walk across the street, accessible via a public access walkway.

You’ve seen the rumors… we’re excited to officially introduce Gold Rush, our brand-new ride for the 2026 season.

This Speedy Coaster is perfect for the young and the young at heart, with smooth twists, fun hills, and just the right amount of thrill. Each car seats four riders, so grab your crew and climb aboard for the adventure.

Riders 42" and taller, get ready to join the rush. The countdown to opening day just got a whole lot more exciting.

Arcade opens on April 17th for Spring Break!
Rides open May 23rd for Memorial Weekend!

Pssst! We have two weeks open mid July if you or someone you know would like to enjoy a relaxing seaside family reunion. The Red Squirrel Lodge has 8 spacious bedrooms, sleeps 16, plenty of room to gather, with lovely gardens and path to beach directly across the street.
