There are plenty of opportunities for watching the resident beavers, goose family of 5 on the pond, hiking/biking in Green Ridge SF, and bird watching; in the last few weeks the warblers, Baltimore and Orchard Orioles, whip-poor-wills, Yellow-Billed Cuckoos, and Cedar Waxwings have settled in and the woodcocks are still going strong!

This is one of the most exciting times of the year around the pond and creek! Woodcocks, whip-poor-wills, meadowlarks, various migrating ducks, a variety of frogs/toads, turtles, and the entertainment of the beavers lounging around the pond in the evening along with the antics of the geese and common mergansers that arrive like clockwork each evening. The warblers will be arriving soon, as well. One never knows what might be around! Yesterday we watched three male bald eagles and an osprey that stop by briefly from time to time. The spring ephemeral flowers are near peak.

Rates are discounted to Airbnb's "smart pricing" as our potential full-time renter was delayed in moving in, so it is still available until June! Come stay while it's available.
