As I prepare The McClure Guesthouse for our next guests, I can't help but appreciate one of my favorite things about this historic home—its location.

This evening, I took a break on the front porch and enjoyed the sounds of Jess and the Hired Hands performing at Bower Park. The music carried through downtown and made the perfect soundtrack for a summer evening.

Moments like these remind me why I love sharing this special place with others.
