I have happily turned my tiny house into a tiny “tester” home for people interested in building and living tiny. I would love to host you in my Bungalow this summer! LOCATION

The Bayside Bungalow is located in Olympia, Washington, in a rural setting on a waterfront lot overlooking the Puget Sound. The house sits perched on a hill above a vintage log home, with peek-a-boo views of the bay, nestled

between two apple trees and surrounded by a beautiful garden and tall fir trees. Next to the house is a small fire ring (perfect for s’mores or moonlit nights!) and at the water’s edge is a trail to the beach. THE BUNGALOW

Brittany’s Bayside Bungalow is approximately 18 feet long by 8 feet wide and built on a double-axle 18 foot utility trailer. A tiny 2’ x 2’ porch faces the water and covers the entrance to the beautiful, cedar door. The floor space is about 100 square feet, plus a 60 square foot loft with a full-sized bed. The main room boasts vaulted ceilings and the loft is built over the kitchen, closet and bathroom, with a ceiling clearance of 6’2”. Two skylights and 11 windows bring ample light into the house, so you will not feel confined, but rather liberated in a cozy, efficient and well designed house! A window seat bench is built in for cozying up with a blanket and good book while watching birds play in the garden. AMENITIES

The house is equipped with electricity, heat, light and hot water. No need to bring the parka or sleeping bag! There is a small RV-style shower (32”x24”), two-burner gas cook top, bar-sized fridge, microwave, kitchen utensils and a rustic bucket-style toilet. There is a full-sized futon mattress bed in a tent-style loft (just under the apex of the roof), accessed by a ladder. Please email Brittany at [email protected] to inquire about reservations! Just one example of how amazing Olympia is! A tiny shelters build competition right on the steps of the state capital building. All these little homes are built by students and will be donated for use by the homeless in a cottage community setting.
