A customer and friend, John Hatcher, wrote this jingle:
Main Street opens at seven a.m.
Coffee’s hot, doorbell chimes again
Mud on boots, plans in a man’s head
Got a job to do and a weekend ahead
From fence posts to foundations
From dreams to renovations
It’s a good old hometown boy rentin’ equipment
Knows your name, knows what you’re workin’ with
From backhoes to ladders, saws to cement
If you need it done, he’ll help you get it
Life runs smoother when you rent it right
At A1 Rentals on a Saturday night
Load it up, strap it down tight
“Bring it back safe, you’ll be just fine”
Advice you didn’t even have to ask for
’Cause he’s done that job a hundred times before
A handshake still means somethin’ here
That’s how it’s always been, year to year
Yeah, it’s a good old hometown boy rentin’ equipment
With a heart as solid as the steel he lends
