Camp Thunderbird is the heart of adventure for Pacific Harbors Council, offering a variety of experiences for Scouts that hosts a range of Scouting events, from leadership training to action-packed campouts.

LAST CALL: Volunteers Needed for Webelos Woods & AOL Adventures!

We need Scouts BSA and Venturing youth and adult leaders to help make Webelos Woods & AOL Adventures a great weekend for our Cub Scouts!

Join us September 11–13 at Camp Thunderbird and help give Webelos and Arrow of Light Scouts a fun, positive introduction to what comes next in Scouting.

There are several ways to help:

• Run an activity station – Teach Scout skills and help Cub Scouts complete activities. Supplies and instructions are provided!

• Serve as a Patrol Guide – Spend the day with a group of Webelos or AOL Scouts, helping them navigate the event and get to their activities.

• Kitchen Support – Help our kitchen team prepare and serve meals throughout the weekend.

• Event Support – Help with campfire, Scouts Own, logistics, activities, and wherever an extra set of hands is needed.

This is a great opportunity for older Scouts to practice leadership, teaching, and service while helping younger Scouts get excited about continuing their Scouting journey.

Perfect for Scoutmasters, Assistant Scoutmasters, and Scouts BSA leaders looking to complete their outdoor training and build confidence teaching Scout skills.
⛺ Basic Adult Leader Outdoor Orientation (BALOO)
Essential training for Cub Scout leaders and parents who want to help plan and lead pack camping adventures.

There are still limited spaces available in Sessions 2 and 3 of Cub Scout Summer Camp 2026: Agents in Action.

Join us for outdoor adventure, waterfront fun, ranges, campfires, new friendships, and a camp-wide mystery that unfolds throughout the weekend.

Families are welcome to attend, and packs can register too. You do not need to attend with your pack to experience camp.

Military Families: Save on Scouting Registration Starting Tomorrow

Beginning June 1, 2026, qualifying military-connected families can have the $85 national youth registration fee waived when registering or renewing online through Scouting America.

This benefit is available to youth from Active Duty, Reserve, and National Guard families and applies to both new registrations and online renewals.

Getting the waiver is easy:
• Select "Get Military Discount Code" during checkout
• Complete the verification process through SheerID
• Enter your code during registration
• The $85 national youth registration fee will be reduced to $0

Pacific Harbors Council, Scouting America will be partnering with the Washington State Department of Commerce in a Clean Energy Technical Assistance Grant for .

This exciting opportunity will allow us to plan for then design and build an on site energy producing solar array with battery storage. These exciting improvements will improve our energy resilience during inclement weather, increase our ability to support the local community during power interruptions, potable water emergencies, and smoke events, while also reducing our annual operating expenses and providing educational opportunities for young people regarding energy resilience, microgrids, and sustainability.
