We've been busy hosting guests through the fall and holiday seasons. I'm pleased to announce that the Haus survived the ultimate test - the sibling weekend! 😳Seriously, my siblings and their spouses had lots of great suggestions and I discovered a few things while cooking in the house myself. We've already started implementing the improvements to make your stay even better. We have openings this month, February, March and April. If you're experiencing cabin fever, come for a stay! There were many times I thought this day would never come but a new chapter began today as the very first guests checked in at Heritage Haus. Before they arrived, I snapped a few more "done" photos. Of course, we still have a few tweaks to make and will depend on our guests to help work out any kinks in the system, but we can safely say we're open for business!

Crazy week here as we bring it all together! Here are a few of the rooms with furnishings. Still waiting on a few pieces as well as hanging pictures, stocking the kitchen with necessary equipment, etc. So exciting to see it all come to life!

Final inspection passed and floors are being sanded and finished! We should be up and running by CWS!

Well, needless to say, this has taken MUCH, MUCH longer than we ever anticipated. We are (really) in the home stretch. Plumbing and electrical inspections have been passed and we are waiting for the floor guy to sand, stain and ply the floors. Just a few minor tasks to finish before the final inspection and then (hopefully) open by CWS!
