We are looking to rent the cottage for a short-term rental from December to April. It would be ideal for a traveling nurse or someone who is moving soon but needs an interim place to stay. It is completely furnished! The rent would be around 1,500 a month.
2 bedrooms and a studio-like space in the basement.
No smoking (inside).
No cats, but a dog is fine.

Days like today bring such nostalgia and peace. There is a cool wind making the trees rustle as they dance. The waves are quietly rolling against the shore. It smells like...well, like my childhood growing up at my grandma's cottage. I always told people that The Cottage, at the end of the day, or when it's quiet on the lake, like today, I felt the most peace and connectedness to something greater. There are the best days and I feel so blessed to have this Cottage to visit.

I could sit here all day feeling the wind and sun on my face. So could Howler. 🥰

It's time to book your winter stay! We are 20 minutes from Crystal Mountain and 40 minutes from Caberfae, 18 minutes from Manistee State Game Area, right on the lake for ice fishing, and out in the country, where you will see tons of snowmobile trails that are plentiful! We are also only 10 minutes from Little River Casino.
If you want a quiet getaway, the cottage is perfect for that, too :)

Our lovely annual guest, Linda, took these pics of our place :) It brings us joy how much our guests love their time at the cottage. Linda and her hubby and family are exceptional guests who we are so happy come back to the cottage every summer 🥰

This summer we did some planting, put in an iron filter, and did some other light projects around the house. In the fall we hope to give the walls some new colors in between guests.

We are always looking at how we can improve the quality of stay for our guests and improve and add new things as we can 😁
