Camp Killarney

A couple months ago, through a series of donations we were able to pour concrete under the dining hall pavilion. Today we finished off the project with some landscaping to help hold the dirt on the side of the hill. Thanks to Chris Pinckney and family, Dave Westendorf, Dan Olsen, Rick Olsen, Scott Parent, Veryl and Connie Tisch, and of course Dan the Man!!
Special thanks to Connie for getting lunch around for the hard working boys!!

This weekend the teens also got to do a little community service for the campground by building some bluebird houses and bat houses. They also got to put up the bluebird houses around the campground. It was awesome watching these kids put these together especially when few had never run a power tool before. They did an amazing job. Be sure to roam around the campground the next time you’re there to see if you can spot their hard work!! Thank you to Veryl for putting together the kits to build the houses!!

These teens had an amazing weekend at our Always Thankful Teen Retreat!! They focused their bible studies on Saturday on just some of the many things we should be thankful to our Heavenly Father for. On Friday we looked at the reasons as to why we should attend worship every chance we get. Add in some Bible Jeopardy and some amazing food to round out the weekend. We are so very thankful for Connie Tisch, Angie Rettle and Annette Furca for putting together and helping out this weekend. Also Thank you to Veryl Tisch for all the wonderful food and goodies!!!
