Bacon and Cheddar Scones with Sweet Onion Marmalade.

Second Course: SALAD
Arugula, Spinach, Cucumbers, Purple Onions, Green Grapes, Dried Cranberries, Candied Pecans and Goat Cheese with Fig Vinaigrette.

Third Course: SOUP
Black Bean and Kielbasa Soup.

Fourth Course: SANDWICHES
(1) Peppercorn Roast Beef, Sharp Cheddar with Horseradish .
(2) Pastrami, Swiss Cheese, Sauerkraut
and Thousand Island Dressing.

These golden branches burst in beautiful sunshine blooms💛
Forsythia was brought from East Asia to Europe during this era of botanical exploration, where it quickly became popular for its very early spring bloom!
Forsythia was named after William Forsyth a Scottish botanist born in the 1700’s.
He was a head gardener at Kensington Palace and one of the founders of the Royal Horticultural Society in London.
Although he did not discover the plant himself in the wild, the genus was named Forsythia in his honor, recognizing his influence.💛🍃
