Pure Air Paradise

We did a quick 24 hour trip filled with lots! First up was some work around the property. Then we jumped in the truck and went into town for a few things, stopped at the beach/ park in Ontonagon. After that we stopped by Pats Motorsports in Greenland, to do a little looking. Then we stopped at The Church in the Valley for a drink, snacks & intense game of Battle Ships between father and son. Made our way back towards home with one final stop at The Pit Stop, for fish fry Friday! Then off to relax back at Pure Air Paradise with a walk around the trail, bike riding, movie and a couple rounds of uno! This morning we did a few more small projects and then made a stop at Bond Falls and The Paulding General Store for ice cream before setting off on the adventure back home.

The weather is great and views up here are even better. Still time to book back to school trips & start making plans for the fall with colors changing!

What a great weekend. We got the original cabin cleaned out. We have plans to turn it into a game room area/ hang out area and are so excited to finally be getting it done! (So stay tuned for the final transformation later this year) We also had another camping pad installed and is ready to go! A huge thank you to Steven and Mike for all the hard work this weekend.

We also got to enjoy a little time out and about. This was Grandma’s first Trip to the UP. We were able to take her to the beach in Ontonagon, Angie’s on Plank, The Pit Stop, over the Trestle Bridges, Church in the Valley and ended her sight seeing with Bond Falls!

The campsites are open and the water is on.

The mobile home is available year round and offers a full kitchen, bathroom and 2 bedrooms.

Trail Report for 1/2:

All of the NCSC trail system was groomed in the last 24 hours!!

Conditions range from poor around Silver City along Lake Superior in The Porkies to excellent at higher elevations in The Porkies and Trapp Hills.

There is still a deep indentation between South Boundary Road and The Porkies Ski Hill.

The water holes along Trail #12 between Ontonagon and Greenland are filled. Mother Nature can change up quick so ride that area with caution.

Riding season is officially here! Trails are shaping up nice for early season riding. Crews are still working on clearing some trees and waiting on swamps to freeze.
