On May 30th from 5:00-7:00pm, the Reptile Wranglers of AZ State Parks and Trails are bringing the Sonoran Desert to life with an up-close encounter featuring many different fascinating reptiles and other native animals. Set inside the historic Kannally Ranch House, you will view live reptiles while also learning essential snake safety tips, making this both an exciting and educational adventure for all ages. Oracle State Park, next door to the C.O.D. Ranch, is having a music along the trails event today. Please note: the Food Truck cant make it, so pick up food ahead of the event at one of our 9 local restaurants! Casitas available for booking at https://book-it-now.com/codranch/

Our annual Music on the Trail event is coming up next month! From 4-6pm, stroll along the 1.2 mile Nature Trail where you'll encounter musicians stationed along the way. Then from 6-8pm, head to the ranch house patio to hear more music and eat some delicious frybread!

We hosted a wonderful 4-Night Retreat last week for an AI company based in NYC, SlangAI, concluding with a Western themed party in our large finished Wilma's Barn.

This 44 person group took part in all the fun things that Oracle has to offer, including off roading, ziplining, Biosphere 2 and our local Art Ranch, the Triangle L. Guests enjoyed catering from the Historic COD Ranch kitchen and some local restaurant providers, including green chile burgers from the Peppersauce Grill and homemade bread sandwiches from DeMarcos and Simply Sandwiches (gluten free).

Check out these two exciting birding events we have coming up!

First on 2/22, Ranger Dylan will be leading a 1.25 mile bird walk, where you'll learn about the different birds that call Oracle State Park home, why they frequent the park, and their migration patterns, all while enjoying the beautiful scenery at the park.

Next on 3/1, park volunteer Craig Anderson will be leading a hummingbird presentation, titled Masters of Flight, in the ranch house living room. This is a great chance to learn all about hummingbird behavior and identification along with interesting information about how they fly, nest, eat, and more.

You do not need to register for either event - just purchase a day pass upon arrival or display your annual state parks pass on your vehicle 🙂

Our bird walk scheduled for February 22 has been canceled.
Our hummingbird presentation, titled Masters of Flight, is still taking place on 3/1 from 1-2pm in the ranch house living room. It will be a great time!
