As the golden sun disappears beyond the white sandy beach, another memorable evening begins at The Original Romar House, Alabama's first seaside Bed and Breakfast Inn. Listen to the palm trees rustle in the wind, smell the salty air, and feel the cool Gulf breeze while sipping a tropical drink on the deck of the Purple Parrot Bar overlooking the beautiful Gulf of Mexico. Wake up to rediscover romance in a charmingly historic atmosphere, as the sun streams through the stained glass windows of your individually appointed room. After breakfast, take a morning swim in the pool or stroll along the beach collecting seashells, curl up in a cypress swing or hammock and read a book, or relax in the hot-tub whirlpool spa. You are only minutes by car to gift shops, golf courses, seafood restaurants, marinas, entertainment, and the Foley Outlet Mall. Break away from your everyday world. Come be a part of history at The Original Romar House Bed and Breakfast Inn.

The Original Romar House stands unscathed!! Thank you all for the Love & Prayers, I am truly humbled! I know all of you have such precious memories created here for decades and truly LOVE this Inn! As the saying goes, "If Love alone could save you, you would Live Forever. I believe its why she still stands today. We were spared.

Unfortunately, our friends and neighbors in Florida did not fare so well. Please keep them in your prayers for a safe and speedy recovery. 🙏🏽❤️

Thank you so much ORH community for all the prayers well wishes and offers of help. For 102 years this ole house has survived many storms. I begged her yesterday to hang in there. Were gonna hunker down and I will update as soon as I can after the storm has passed. Love Y'all, Lilia 🙏🏽❤️
