The Hugh S. Branyon Backcountry Trail, a network that connects Gulf Shores to Orange Beach through Gulf State Park, has once again been ranked as the top-rated recreation trail in USA Today’s 10Best Reader’s Choice Awards.

The trail network was begun in 2003 and includes 29 miles of trail within the park, with plans for expansion “in the works.”
