Today wraps up the weekend relinquishijg ownership of The Bills Mafia House. The paperwork is officially signed and the closing is done. I want to thank everyone who supported us over the past 13 years and helped make the Mafia House what it is. Over these past years it has been an amazing experience being a part of what it is, and becoming a staple for fans all around the world! I have so many people to thank it's impossible to name them all, but I can't make this post without mentioning Del Reid For allowing me to use the logo from day one to make it all possible. Del and his wife and family are truly amazing people and always treated us with the utmost respect and made us feel appreciated and a part of the greater good. Without all of you, this opportunity and many others along the way would not have been possible. Truly from the bottom of our hearts, Thank You! In the end it was our time to move on, and our time to do what was best for our family in many aspects. Too the many friends we gained along the way I hope to continue to see all of you at future games! We will always be ! Too the friends we lost along the way through necessary changes in how things were coordinated year to year, I continue to hope you the best as we move in our respective directions.
As many people have asked and some have been told, yes; the house sold for more than the asking price. The messages received criticizing our move, our ask, and our creation have been proven wrong. The hatred from some of the neighbors constantly received for years, acting as if they were better than anyone else; have been proven wrong. The hate comments and messages from the so called "super fans" that want the title of The Bills Mafia House so bafld, because they can't come up with their own name, and want what I created; have been proven wrong. I could go on for hours and call out names and provide comments, text messages, and even voicemails I still have recorded from some of you bashing the Bills Mafia, all the while cashing in game after game on them, but I won't. It's truly a shame how some of you are, disheartening on how you treat a fellow Bills fan, because of your desired 15 minutes of fame and comparing who's a bigger bills fan. I truly hope that one day we can all realize that sports Fandom isn't a competition. We are supposed to be unified, what you wear to a game, where you tailgate at a game, wether your on TV or not, your social media following, and honestly wether you are at the game or not, non of it has anything to do with your Fandom! Keep the competition on the field with the players, that's where it belongs. However, through all this I still hope you win, I hope you receive the same blessing that I did, because who I am, and who I always will be is a man that roots for success in everyone!
As I reminisce through the process, training myself to not read comments, not respond to comments, ignoring messages, tuning out hatred, and staying focused on the goal. I have battled through my approach of just throwing out a big FU to many people, or staying humble and maintaining my self respect. In true fassion to who I am, I remain humble. Those of you that publically criticized me, my family, and the house; I still hope you find yourself in a similar situation, I hope you win somewhere in life! Life is to short to root for people to lose. It is truly a shame how many people in the world root for others to lose, while waking up day after day hoping for their own blessing! Jealousy is truly real and well alive in our society. It breads hatred, it loses respect of others, and dimishes your own self respect. Act like a winner, think like a winner, but also root for others to win! There is more than one game inside your life, there is more than one opportunity in your life. You lose nothing by others winning, especially if you weren't even in the game being played at the time. Why root for someone to lose? We just need to be better! As Josh once said: Be Good, Do Good, God Bless, and Go Bills!
See you out there , we are truly grateful for and love each one of you! Thank you for so many wonderful years and God bless!
