’Twas the Night Before EPCOT Food & Wine
’Twas the night before Food & Wine, and all through EPCOT,
Not a kiosk was serving—not even a lot.
The menus were posted by booths with great care,
In hopes that hungry Parks Guests soon would be there.
The Passholders nestled all snug in their beds,
While visions of festival dishes danced in their heads.
With passports made ready and stomachs prepared,
We dreamed of the snacks that tomorrow we’d share.
When out by World Showcase there arose such a clatter,
I sprang from my bed to see what was the matter!
Away toward the entrance I flew like a flash,
Dreaming of cheese bread and spending my cash.
The moon over Spaceship Earth gave such a glow,
To the festival booths all lined up below.
When what to my hungry eyes should appear,
But Global Marketplaces filled with good cheer!
There was Canada, France, and Germany too,
With dishes and drinks just waiting for you.
From Belgium to Brazil, the flavors they came,
And hungry park Guests would soon know them by name!
“Now Tacos! Now Dumplings! Now Noodles and Brie!
On Pierogis! On Desserts! And something gluten-free!
From the front of the park to World Showcase Hall,
We’ll taste away! Taste away! Taste away all!”
The kitchens were bustling long into the night,
Making sure every booth would be ready just right.
The signs were all shining, the tables wiped clean,
Tomorrow would bring EPCOT’s tastiest scene.
Then suddenly morning appeared in the sky,
And Spaceship Earth sparkled as Guests hurried by.
Festival passports were firmly in hand,
As hungry explorers marched into the land.
We raced toward the booths with excitement and cheer,
For the tastiest season was finally here!
And I heard someone shout as we walked out of sight—
“Happy Food & Wine to all…
and to all a GOOD BITE!” 🍷🍴✨
