Could Disney World finally bring back nighttime entertainment to Animal Kingdom with a drone show? 👀✨

Disney has experimented with drone shows before, but none have become a permanent offering at Walt Disney World. At the same time, Disney's Animal Kingdom has an empty Discovery River Amphitheatre, where previous nighttime productions like Rivers of Light once took place.

With fireworks not being an option because of the animals, drones could be the perfect alternative. And with the new Tropical Americas land opening in 2027 expected to keep guests in the park later into the evening, the timing may finally be right for a new nighttime spectacular.
