Our granddaughter Kay has received a prestigious award for rowing. Alan is a dear friend and did not realize the connection to us or the Inn. Things come full circle when associating with good people. We are so proud of Kay and her duties at the Inn with Hosting, bussing, running and prep as well as anything necessary. We love her so much!

Last dining day of the season is Wednesday 8/26/2026. Five more opportunities to enjoy dining at the Inn will be tonight, tomorrow night, Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday. Staff return to college Thursday and we wish them well and thank them for caring and service to our wonderful guests.

Sundays at the Inn. When we bought the Inn 30 years ago we thought it may just become a big house for the family. Guests wanted us to keep the hotel and restaurant open to the public. We did this every day of the year for many years. We settled on six months in season for the hotel and 10 weeks in season for the restaurant when staff are home from college. We decided a few years ago to do the restaurant Monday-Saturday and have Sunday for family day. I had just finished waterskiing in the Cove when all the grandkids joined us for family dinner with Grandma.
