The cottage needed a new FLAT lawn for 2025 and a retaining wall garden was the answer. We also completed fencing at the cottage so doggos will be contained. It is a very private and welcoming peaceful space! Fire pit, grill, dining table, screech owl house… We are hoping it checks all the boxes! see link in profile for availability. Still weeks left this summer for the cottage. King bed, private walking path to Areys Pond, outdoor shower, laundry… linens and towels included.

We have some july availability and have gone to a 4 night minimum… so check it out and come visit. we are pet friendly and have kayaks and paddle boards and a great location! the photos so far on profile are old, but check the cottage and house links in profile for dates!

Have kept the yards and landscaping rustic but also have cleaned up extensively and added flowers, hostas, window boxes, tables and umbrellas and chaises etc. to create a comfortable and welcoming space to relax and entertain… a bit of Olde Cape Cod in a time capsule. Even now we continue to make improvements to the outdoor spaces, to be posted soon or eventually!

Project last spring to make the railing above the stairs safe! decided to just use cleats and rope, thanks to the suggestion and idea of a friend! came out looking good, and functional even more than visually interesting.

Ok, this light and fan was selected and installed in the Cottage unit. It appears somewhat cheaply made, but is just wonderfully bedazzled with faux jewels and has a reliable wireless remote control to adjust fan speed, brightness and even color temperature to change from cool white to warmer amber hue. The fan keeps the cottage cool in summer and functions quietly. It was theorized that it suited the antique nature of the space nostalgic of something like an old speakeasy or gambling riverboat. I won’t skew the poll by sharing anyone’s opinion about it, but let us know, do you like this fixture for the space, Yes or No… (or other). If you have read all this you’ve gotta vote!
