The roadwork along A1A has finally reached us. There may be times that only one driveway is functional while the other is barricaded off. Please be careful when pulling in and out as there will be traffic deviations.

It is with deep regret and sympathy that Traders Inn announces the passing of one of our long time employees, Mark Johnston.

Mark was an integral part of our maintenance staff and will be deeply missed by our owners, guests and staff. He was always ready to help another employee or owner with any issue that arose. His kindness, genuineness and positive attitude shined through everything he did. His selflessness and desire to help others in a fluke event was the catalyst for his employment at Traders Inn.

Our sympathies, thoughts and prayers go out to his family and friends. Mark will be deeply missed by his Traders Inn Beach Club family.

It's that time of the year again.

Maintenance Fee Statements were mailed out yesterday.

If you've moved or changed your contact information, please contact us to change your information. Payment can be made by check, cash or money order if you wish to avoid the 3% fee if you pay by credit card (by phone or owner portal). Fees are due on January 1, 2026. If you pay by December 31, 2025 you will be entered to win either a free week or a gift card of your choice.

November is Merit Month! Looking to get away for a day, weekend or even more in November? Want to spend Thanksgiving at the beach?

Book a stay for anytime in November for Merit pricing. Owners can rent a one bedroom/one bathroom unit for $60.00/night plus tax, a small efficiency unit for $70.00/night plus tax, large efficiency for $80.00/night plus tax and a one bedroom/two bathroom unit for $90.00/night. Units must be owner occupied and are based on availability.

Do you have friends or family interested in coming with you or alone? Our Friendsgiving Sale allows the owners to book a reservation for a stay in November for a friend or family member. Add an additional $25.00/night on top of the above mentioned Merit Pricing. All units are based on availability. Owner must make all reservations.

November is beautiful this time of the year in Ormond Beach. Warm days, cool nights, heated pool, local pickleball courts and local events that aren't ruined by walking around in the heat and humidity.

11/1/25 – Ormond Art Walk – View local artwork along Granada
Blvd and surrounding areas.

11/1/25 and 11/2/25 – Cirque de Paris at Tanger Outlets

11/1/25 and 11/2/25 – Halifax Art Festival 2025

11/5/25 – HSR Classic at Daytona International Speedway

11/6/25 to 11/16/25 – Volusia County Fair and Youth Show

11/7/25 -Movies on the Halifax (outdoor movies at the Casements) - This event is free. The movie for November and December will be Free Birds (rated PG). Bring a blanket or chair and enjoy the cool weather and the evening view of the Halifax River. Movie starts at 5:30 pm.

11/11/25 – OMAM Veterans Day Tribute – Ormond Memorial Art Museum and Gardens will host a USO-style show with music, dance, comedy, and more. Daytona Beach Choral Society will perform. The event is free.

Severe weather can happen anytime here. Unfortunately, lightning usually comes with it. If you hear thunder, a good rule of thumb is to go indoors. Lightning and severe weather is usually soon to follow. Come in from the beach or pool until at least half an hour after the storm has passed. Grab a board game or book from our owner's lounge, have a fun game afternoon in your unit and admire Mother Nature....from a distance.

Starting today, Spectrum will begin to upgrade our services.

Spectrum will be upgrading the cable services today. Owners and guests will have no cable services today while the planned upgrade is happening. While the work is scheduled to be completed today, they may need tomorrow to finish up any work.

In the coming weeks, WiFi and the phone system will be upgraded.

We will update everyone as the upgrades progress.
