Osoyoos Lake Veteran’s Memorial Park is located in the scenic Okanogan River Valley on Highway 97 just south of the US / Canadian Port of Entry. The green pastures and orchards of the valley floor are contrasted with the rugged cliffs and glacial features of the Okanogan country, a beautiful setting for this City of Oroville Veteran’s Memorial Park recreation site. The Park consists of sandy lakes

hore, green lawns, and shade trees in contrast with the hot, arid conditions that prevail in the area. Available activities include boating (one boat launch ramp), fishing, swimming, watersports, bird watching, and horseshoes. In the surrounding areas of Oroville there are many hiking, biking and horseback trails, such as the Similkameen Trail, Whistler Canyon Trail and a vast amount of ATV trails also. The camping facilities include 41 standard sites, 39 utility sites (power & water), 12 primitive sites (walk-in only), 2 ADA sites (one with power and water) a restroom/shower complex, many picnic sites, and a trailer dump. The day-use facilities include 300 feet of sandy-beach swimming area with a bath house and concession stand.
