Free classes till the end of September

Join Irayz Movement for mindful movement, yoga, walking, exploring nature and her beautiful offerings. We will learn new things each week with movement, breath and mindfulness with Mother Nature. Bring a picnic for after. This opportunity is hosted in partnership with Neighbor-To-Neighbor.

Hello community. Thanks to Paradise Rec and the Neighbor to Neighbor grant, we are holding Family Fun Day at Lake Concow Campground on Saturday, July 5th from 11 am to 5 pm. It is a free event.

The Konkow Maidu will open the day at 11 am with a prayer and some traditional dance. There will be a 35’ inflated slip and slide with water tunnel. There will be gunny sack races, egg on spoon relays, a craft area and a whole lot of fun. Irayz Movement will be performing at 1 pm and will have equipment set up for the kids, with her guidance, to play on. There will be face painting. Bring your own picnic and relax.

We decided to invite our local vendors to feel free to set up and no charge. Nothing formal, nothing fancy, just a chance to maybe make a couple of bucks while you play with the kids. The goal here is to continue to bring our community together to reduce loneliness and isolation. Grab that neighbor who doesn’t get out often. Don’t forget a chair or picnic blanket. See you Saturday.

No fireworks will be allowed....sorry.

Big thanks to Sail! And Scotty for bringing a chainsaw training course to our campground. Partnered with Sail!, the Kojomk'awi (Konkow) Maidu, Konkow Partners is trying to keep the forest healthy, in a safe way. Together we can make our forests healthy but it will take all of us!

Hello everyone! We would like to thank all of you for the great camping season! We will be closing the campground for the winter. We will reopen for our Spring Celebration on Easter Sunday April 20, 2025. We hope you all stay safe and warm. Happy Holidays and See you all next year!
