🎣 What a catch!

Last week on the Voyageur Plus 44', a guest landed this 40-inch Northern Pike after a 45-minute battle on a fly rod and spinning reel with a jig and plastic. The fish broke their net and nearly escaped before they got a picture!

After a quick photo, this gator was successfully released to swim another day. 🐟

Big day at Ebel’s! 🚤

The largest houseboat in Voyageurs National Park officially launched today! There’s nothing quite like seeing one of these beauties hit the water for the first time each season.

As always, Justin gave a beep for Joey. ❤️

Our new Dearson 2,000 gallon (UL 2085) above ground fireguard fuel tank has arrived! We’re excited to get this operational and put it to work.

Our office and gift shop are getting some exciting updates! 🎉

New items are arriving daily, including fresh clothing, hats, stickers, and drinkware just in time for the season. 🧢👕☕🎣

Kieren is also hard at work getting our new inventory software up and running as we continue making improvements behind the scenes.

We’re hoping to be open Saturday & Sunday for anyone needing a fishing license, new apparel, or just wanting to stop in and check out what’s new.

The river went out last week, and we were able to put our first boat in the water yesterday! 🚤☀️⚓️

We’re almost there! 🚤

The Vista 61' project is just about wrapped up — about a week of work left before this beauty is ready for its splash into the river. Now we’re just waiting on ice-out… and with 25"–30" still hanging on, Mother Nature is calling the shots for the moment.

We’re excited and counting down the days to welcome our 2026 guests!

Here’s a look at what’s new:

🔧❄️ Winter Projects ❄️🔧

While the lake may be quiet, our crew has been anything but! This fall and winter have been filled with remodeling, upgrades, and a whole lot of progress behind the shop doors.

Our 65' Series received a fall revamp in the upper salon with brand-new windows, headliner, paneling, and structural improvements.

The Vista 44' is currently in the shop getting some major attention, including:
• New front and back decks
• Power equipment reconfiguration (12-volt and 110)
• Interior upgrades in the bathroom and bedroom areas
• Extensive welding with new bulkheads and bottoms on its floats.

The Vista 61' is also getting a refresh with a new back deck, new back cabinets, and window work.

Both the 65' Series and Vista 61' now feature new, longer boarding ramps/gangplanks for even easier access.

Behind the scenes, our crew has also been building new freshwater and holding tanks — improvements that make a big difference in your time on the water.

We’ve balanced all this with some meaningful “off” time too — resetting, traveling a bit, and spending time with our daughters, family, and friends. This season of projects has truly become a hobby for us, and we love having the time to complete them right.

Before we know it, summer will be here — and we can’t wait to welcome you back aboard! ☀️🚤
