Join us Monday, May 11, as we gather once again in fellowship and labor together in the quarries of Freemasonry.

The lodge will open at 6:30 p.m. for fellowship and a meal before our regularly stated meeting begins promptly at 7:30 p.m. We may also be welcoming a couple of prospects for Freemasonry during dinner, making this a wonderful opportunity to share the warmth, friendship, and brotherhood that defines Cedar Lodge.

Please note that the evening will be held in business casual attire.

We are also honored to have Right Worshipful Brother Lew Fleege presenting an education program for the evening, bringing valuable insight and reflection from within our own lodge. This promises to be not just a great night in Masonry, but a legendary one.

We hope to have a full lodge room Monday evening.

Brethren,
Just because we do not have a meeting tomorrow night does not mean Masonry stops for the week. Some of the most important work we do happens outside the Lodge room.

Take a little time tomorrow to live out our Masonic principles in your own way. Visit a sick, distressed, or shut in Brother. Call someone you have not talked to in a while. Check on a widow, help a neighbor, or simply offer kindness where it is needed.

Small acts of brotherly love and relief still make a big difference.

Rest assured that there is still plenty of traveling to do this week. Check out the image below for our planned travels. If there is more going on not listed, let us know so that we can inform the Brethren.

This morning, the Brothers of Cedar Lodge #430 F.&A.M , and their families, had the privilege of serving alongside 5 Voices and supporting the Orrville community during their monthly food distribution.

This effort is more than a routine act of service. It reflects something deeply meaningful to our Lodge and to many of our Brothers who hold this mission close to heart. Standing shoulder to shoulder in service reminds us that our work extends far beyond the walls of the Lodge.

During a brief pause in the morning, we were honored to present a $500 donation to 5 Voices. These funds were generously donated by Brothers who attended our inspection in early March, and it was a privilege to place them directly into the hands of those making a real difference in our community.

Moments like this reinforce the true purpose of our fraternity. Not just to meet, but to act. Not just to speak of relief, but to deliver it.
Quietly, consistently, and together, we continue the work.

We are just 6 days away from what is shaping up to be one of those nights that reminds us exactly why we love this fraternity, and the anticipation is continuing to build.

There is something powerful about gathering with Brothers who are truly hungry to grow, to learn, and to become better men. This evening is centered on that very spirit. Not routine. Not ordinary. An experience filled with energy, purpose, and meaning.

We will begin the evening at 6:30 p.m. with a pasta bar, homemade sauces, salad, and dessert. It will be a relaxed setting with great food and even better fellowship, the kind of time together that simply cannot be replicated.

At 7:30 p.m., we will open a Lodge of Master Masons, followed by an engaging night of leadership education designed to challenge, encourage, and inspire. These are the kinds of experiences that stay with us long after the evening comes to a close.

There is no cost for the education. We simply ask that each of us bring a canned good or two to support the local Salvation Army and extend our charity into the community, if it is within the length of your cable-tow.

If you have not done so already and are planning to join us for dinner, please take a moment to RSVP by responding to this post or by letting WM Josh Nickles know so we can prepare accordingly and ensure every Brother is properly received.

We look forward to sharing this meaningful evening together.

Last night was a powerful reminder of what Freemasonry is truly about.

We had 25 Brothers gather together throughout the evening, representing two districts and bringing a strong spirit of fellowship with them. Alongside the Brothers of Cedar, we were honored to welcome Brothers from Ebenezer, Harrisville, and even as far as Rockton Lodge in Kent.

What stood out most was not just the number in attendance, but the quality of the time shared. Conversations flowed easily, laughter was abundant, and connections were strengthened. These are the moments that build lasting bonds, the kind that keep Brothers coming back and draw others in.

There is something special about setting aside the formality for an evening and simply enjoying each other’s company. No agenda, no degree work, just Brotherhood in its purest form.

Thank you to every Brother who made the effort to attend. Events like this continue to show that when we invest in the experience, we strengthen the Craft as a whole.

Look for an announcement in the next few weeks regarding the next one. I am looking forward to see each of you soon.

Fraternally,

WM Josh Nickles

Brothers,

On Monday, April 13, we will hold our regularly stated meeting at 7:30 p.m.

Prior to the meeting, the Lodge will open at 6:30 p.m. so that we may gather and break bread together. There is no cost for the meal, though donations will be accepted.

While we may not have a kitchen, that will not stand in the way of sharing fellowship around the table. Time spent together in simple moments like this strengthens the bonds that make our Lodge what it is. This is about creating a great lodge experience.

During our meeting, we will be discussing upcoming degree work, reviewing plans for future events, and continuing our efforts to strengthen the Lodge through meaningful engagement and participation. We will also have an education program that is shaping up to be an engaging and thought provoking conversation, one that I believe many will find both meaningful and worthwhile.

At this time, I am unsure how many to prepare for, so if you plan to attend the meal, please respond to this post so I can plan accordingly.

I look forward to seeing each of you and sharing in an evening of fellowship and purpose.

April 20 is shaping up to be one of those nights that reminds us exactly why we love this fraternity, and there is real excitement about what is coming together.

There is something powerful about gathering with Brothers who are hungry to grow, to learn, and to become better men. This evening is built around that spirit. Not routine. Not ordinary. Something with energy, purpose, and meaning behind it.

We will begin the evening at 6:30 p.m. with a pasta bar, homemade sauces, salad, and dessert. Good food, a relaxed atmosphere, and the kind of conversations that simply cannot be replicated anywhere else.

For those planning to attend dinner, we ask that you please RSVP so we can prepare accordingly and ensure every Brother is well received.

This promises to be a meaningful and memorable evening, and we look forward to sharing it together.

On Saturday, April 25, Cedar Lodge will be assisting 5 Voices with their monthly food distribution in the Orrville community. We will also present them with a donation check from our annual inspection.

Right now, 12 Brothers are signed up. We need more hands and more hearts to ensure every position is filled. This is a chance to put Brotherly Love and Relief into action and make a real impact in our community.

If you can join us, please RSVP by Friday, April 17 so we can provide an accurate headcount. Your presence will make a difference and show the true spirit of Cedar Lodge.

Step forward. Serve with your Brothers. Make an impact.

Go ahead and mark April 11 on your calendar. This is going to be a night worth stepping away for.

We will be gathering at 6:00 p.m. at the Wooster Cigar Vault for an evening built around fellowship, conversation, and the kind of connection that strengthens our Brotherhood in a real and lasting way.

There is something special about nights like this. No agenda. No pressure. Just good men, good conversation, and time well spent together. These are the moments where relationships are built, where laughter is shared, and where the spirit of our fraternity is felt in its purest form.

This is also a perfect opportunity to bring along a man who has shown interest in Masonry. Sometimes the best introduction to who we are is not a meeting, but an experience, and this setting offers exactly that.

Most importantly, this is a chance for us to simply enjoy each other’s company. Life moves fast, and intentional time like this matters.

To help us plan accordingly, please RSVP by April 4 so we can have an accurate head count.

This is going to be a great night. We are looking forward to seeing you there. It is looking like this will be the largest gathering yet!
