I came home late today and the light was hitting just perfect on the house. I love the evenings here, especially after the time change. It’s the perfect time to cut the grass, water the flowers and sit on the balcony and reflect on the days behind and days ahead. The cabin at is almost ready to be rented out as an AirBNB! I’m so excited to see this historic home restored. It had holes in the roof, ceilings, and floors. Both porches had collapsed, there were rotten places all over the outside of the house and the windows were rotted out. It had extreme peeling on the paint as well and the plumbing was busted. I can’t thank Scott Headley enough for re-siding this home last weekend. The moon was beautiful night before last so I went over and snapped this awesome picture of this adorable home. The moon was just beautiful this evening. It was so bright at dusk and this glimpse of it through the tree branches was so pretty. The camera did not do it justice.
