Have you ever wondered who the person behind our social media accounts was!? From your messages, it seems like most of you think I’m Michele or Angelo, so I figured it was time I introduced myself! 😊 I’m Louise, one of the granddaughters of Charles & Louise Cerami. My grandparents bought the Starlight in the early 1970’s and it has been in our family ever since. Recently, I’ve realized just how special the Starlight is to my family. Between their 5 grandkids (first picture), we have all worked & helped out over the years, and now the great-grandkids have started working! 🥹 Even though me and my cousins have different jobs ~ Blake & Charlie work in real estate development, Charles does AI driven supply chain software, Briana is a Doctor of Clinical Psychology, and I’m an Internal Medicine Physician ~ we all always come back to our happy place, The Starlight 🩵 We may have started out as little kids using the pool, but now our holidays are filled with conversations about how we can make the guest experience better and how we can make everyone feel like family. Over the years, we have fought for the motel in more ways than one. We are deeply grateful for our guests, the continued support, and the incredibly kind comments. On behalf of my family, we hope our favorite place on earth is also yours! XOXO ✨

For the Starlight, every summer season comes with improvements. This year, the small suite kitchens have been upgraded with new dishwashers, fridges, & microwaves! What would you cook with all of those fancy new appliances? 🔪👨🏼‍🍳 Book your suite online or call us anytime!

The long-awaited beach replenishment project is finally here!! It is a 73.5 million dollar project that is bringing 2.1 million cubic yards of sand to our local beaches. Ortley Beach will be getting over 400,000 cubic yards of sand - ultimately widening it to prevent erosion (and give us some much needed extra space 🤩) We certainly don’t think anyone will be having any issues finding a spot on the beach now! 🌊🙌🏼
