We celebrated the Margaritaville Hotels & Resorts Jimmy Buffett Day by trading our flip-flops for work boots and spending the day giving back to our friends at Dogwood Animal Shelter.

Our Margaritaville Lake Resort team helped with landscaping, cleared Ozzie’s Trail, and even pitched in on a memory board to help future shelter pets find their forever families. There were plenty of smiles, wagging tails and good times shared by everyone with two feet or four paws.

A special shoutout to Chris Schultz of Runabout Storage LLC for bringing out a Bobcat to help us move some of those heavy logs after clearing the trail. We couldn’t have done it without you.

A recent guest shared some love for Windrose Marker 26, calling their dinner “wonderful” and giving high praise to the shrimp cocktail, burrata, Windrose salad, crab cakes and sea bass.

Their favorite part? Sitting outside on a beautiful evening, enjoying dinner by the lake, then finishing with an espresso martini. Plus, a shoutout to John for taking great care of them.
