ANNOUNCEMENT: Due to recent cancellations, the weekends of July 17th and October 23rd are now available, and we still have Halloween weekend open as well! 🎃These are some of the very last weekend openings of 2026.

To make things even tighter, we've blocked off the first three weeks of November while the pool is being repainted and refreshed, which leaves even less remaining availability for the rest of the year.

If this year doesn’t work for you, it’s never too early to plan ahead—we already have quite a few reservations booked for 2027! ❤️

A recent cancellation opened up the weekend of **June 19th**, which means one of only a handful of summer weekends is now available at the Starved Rock Pool House.

With summer almost here, our calendar is nearly full. Between family reunions, girls' weekends, birthday celebrations, golf trips, biking adventures, and Starved Rock getaways, there are only a few scattered dates remaining through the rest of the season.

And if this year doesn't work for your group, it's never too early to start planning. We already have numerous reservations on the books for **2027**, and guests are beginning to lock in their preferred dates well in advance for family gatherings, birthdays, reunions, and weekend getaways.

Yesterday was one of those reminder rides that makes you appreciate what we have around here. Took the e-bikes out through the Starved Rock curves, cruised along the canal trails and scenic backroads, and wrapped up the evening with dinner at Año Del Gallo and then Muffy's Tap on the way back to town. Hard to beat a day like that. 🏍️

One thing guests sometimes don’t realize is just how much there is to do beyond the pool house. The canal trails and biking paths around Starved Rock are beautiful—whether you’re bringing bicycles, motorcycles, or just looking for a great place to walk and explore. Between the river views, winding roads, hiking, small-town stops, and local restaurants, you can easily turn a stay into a full adventure.

Then come back, soak in the hot tub, take a swim, and end the night relaxing in your own private indoor pool. That combination is hard to top.

Starved Rock really has a way of creating the perfect kind of day.

One thing we hear from guests all the time is how nice it is to not feel like they had to pack up half their house before coming here. ❤️

When we designed the Starved Rock Pool House, we tried to think through all the little things that make traveling easier—especially for families, groups, and anyone just wanting a relaxing getaway without the stress of forgetting something important. And the proof is in the pics!!

So yes… the cabinets and drawers are stocked. 😊

Coffee bar with flavored syrups, creamers, teas, Keurig, French press and coffee pot? ✔️
Pack ’n plays, booster seat, high chair, baby gear and kids items? ✔️
Cooking essentials, spices, oils, air fryer, crockpots, Instapot and more? ✔️
Extra toiletries and those “oh no, I forgot mine” items? ✔️

Our goal has always been simple: we want you spending less time packing and stressing… and more time relaxing in the pool, soaking in the hot tub, enjoying family dinners, morning coffee overlooking the pool room, and making memories together.

Sometimes it’s the little details that make a place feel comfortable. We try really hard to make this one feel that way!
