KMG hotels is seeking a Sales Manager for the Element Overland Park / Leawood. This is an excellent position to grow with a company that has multiple hotels in the Kansas City area. Responsibilities
•The Sales Manager is responsible for soliciting, developing and maintaining relationships with new and existing accounts to generate business and meet/exceed room revenue goals
•Target specific markets and or accounts as assigned
•Form client working relationships with the premier businesses in the market
•Assists Dual Director of Sales in analyzing the hotels Revenue Management strategy using such tools as Star Reports , demand analysis and applicable front office systems
•Organizes , maintains, and inputs sales data
•Thorough understanding and ex*****on of the sales call process
•Be well informed about the market
•Conduct direct sales solicitation through phone calls, email communication, appointments, site tours and lunches
•Follow up on all leads in a timely manner
•Be informed about daily operations
•Must be a self-starter and be able to work with minimum supervision
Have knowledge of basic computer skills: Microsoft Word , Excel , processing software, spreadsheet software and internet.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE
•Valid Driver ’s License and transportation to and from work required
Previous hotel sales and/or Marriott experience preferred but not required.
