ABOUT THE JOB
KMG hotels is seeking a Sales Manager for the Element Overland Park / Leawood. This is an excellent position to grow with a company that has multiple hotels in the Kansas City area. Responsibilities
•The Sales Manager is responsible for soliciting, developing and maintaining relationships with new and existing accounts to generate business and meet/exceed room revenue goals
•Target specific markets and or accounts as assigned
•Form client working relationships with the premier businesses in the market
•Assists Dual Director of Sales in analyzing the hotels Revenue Management strategy using such tools as Star Reports , demand analysis and applicable front office systems
•Organizes , maintains, and inputs sales data
•Thorough understanding and ex*****on of the sales call process
•Be well informed about the market
•Conduct direct sales solicitation through phone calls, email communication, appointments, site tours and lunches
•Follow up on all leads in a timely manner
•Be informed about daily operations
•Must be a self-starter and be able to work with minimum supervision
Have knowledge of basic computer skills: Microsoft Word , Excel , processing software, spreadsheet software and internet.
•All other duties as assigned

The Element Overland Park Hotel seeks a positive, service-oriented, energetic, and self-motivated Guest Service Representative/Night Auditor to join our team on a part-time basis.

As a Guest Service Representative & Night Auditor, you will fill a pivotal role in ensuring guest satisfaction through check-in, check out, and attentive coordination of hotel services for each guest. You will be focused on optimizing each guest's experience by promoting hotel services, facilities, and outlets and providing information on upcoming events/functions in the hotel and surrounding areas.

CORE ACCOUNTABILITIES:
Be incredibly friendly, customer-centric, love to smile, and have knowledge of the local area.
Register guests into the hotel in a prompt and courteous manner. Greets, registers, and assigns rooms to guests. Answers phone in a prompt, efficient, and friendly manner.
Respond quickly to guest requests or complaints in a friendly manner and appropriate action is taken. Follows up to ensure guest satisfaction. Uses creative reasoning to overcome guest objections and concerns and to ensure 100% satisfaction.
Always provides a professional image through appearance and dress.
Performs as Manager on Duty during the hours of 11:00 PM – 7:00 AM.

Support other departments, as needed, and perform other duties as assigned
