This week at the Ovid Inn we pulled off a mini refresh with many new vintage decor items. How great is it that we can wander next-door to Elaine's Too and find these gems! Early 1900s milk cans from Michigan Milk Producers Association Elsie and one from Ovid! And how about that gentleman with the first class 5 star delivery service. 😍❤️

We received a very last-minute request from an out-of-town family member of guests staying at the Ovid Inn. They were hoping to surprise the bride and groom with a special gluten-free delivery over a holiday weekend… on a Sunday… in a small town. Needless to say, the odds were against us. We were running into dead end after dead end trying to make it happen.

Then by complete chance, we ran into one of the owners of Graham Vineyards in their parking lot during closed hours.

Without hesitation, they graciously opened their doors and helped curate a thoughtful gift featuring their most popular wines.

Thank you, Graham Vineyards, for saying yes when it would have been so easy to say no. It meant more than you know!

“This facility was perfect for our small school's prom! The hosts were wonderful, answered all our questions, and had everything set up perfectly for our arrival. The banquet room is beautiful, making decorating a breeze. The full kitchen has plenty of counter space, great for plating dinners and prepping food. After dinner, the students headed upstairs where they were surprised to have so many entertainment options! No one was bored at this prom. Not into dancing? Shoot some pool or take up a game of ping pong. Want something slower paced? Crack open a board game ! Need some fresh air? Step outside into the quaint Boyer Park where market lights are strung and benches are poised for quiet conversations. This place has it all and was enjoyed by all! It's truly a gem!”
