Our tennis courts have been updated and turned into pickle ball courts and are ready for play.

For Owners/Members that do not have their own equipment, the activities office in lake expo has equipment available for check out. There is no charge to check it out, they just need present their Owner/Member card.

Memorial Day which for many marks the beginning of summer, let us remember to take time to reflect on the origin and meaning of Memorial Day.

Originally called Decoration Day, it became formalized by a "Memorial Day Order" issued by the Grand Army of the Republic Commander-in-Chief in 1868 to honor the Union soldiers who had died in the American Civil War. This national observance followed many local traditions at the time of honoring the dead by placing flowers on the graves of both Union and Confederate soldiers.

As conflicts continued and American service members continued to perish around the globe, the observance became officially standardized and named "Memorial Day" by Congress in 1971.

Since then, Memorial Day stands as a federal holiday set as our foremost annual day to honor our service members who have perished near and far since the founding of this nation.

TROUT TOURNAMENT INFORMATION!!!

We all know the cost of goods and services keeps going up, stocking fish is no exception. Attendance at the trout tournament has been much lower in recent years. We have reason to believe this year’s attendance will be lower than last year. The combined impact of these two factors dictates that LVL must reconsider how this event is held.

As a result, in order to hold this event in 2026, LVL will need at least 50 participants to sign up and pay the entry fee ($25 per person) before March 22 to get the fish delivered in time to hold the tournament on March 28. If we do not reach 50 participants, we will not be able to hold the tournament this year. This event is a favorite for many Owners and staff alike. We absolutely want to be able to have this event and see you there! Help us make that happen!

To sign up for the trout tournament, contact the Recreation Department by calling 314-658-9985 between the hours of 11am-7pm daily.
