It was truly an honor to host James and Ashley’s wedding at Stag’s Leap Farm. 💍🤍 There’s something incredibly special about small, intimate weddings. Elopements and micro-weddings give us the opportunity to focus on what matters most—the couple, the moment, and all of those little details that make the day uniquely theirs.

And we have to admit… we love to spoil our newlyweds. 🥂

From creating a beautiful, intimate setting to adding thoughtful personal touches throughout their stay, we love being able to give our couples the extra attention that a smaller celebration allows.

When we opened Stag’s Leap Farm, our goal was simple: to create a place where guests feel less like customers and more like they’re visiting friends. This morning, Brett brought back a guest favorite from last year—Swedish Pancakes! Light, delicate, and made fresh, they're served with homemade blueberry and raspberry compotes, sweet diced strawberries, a generous dusting of powdered sugar, and, of course, 100% real maple syrup. 🍁

Love was definitely in the air... and on the lake! ❤️🚤

Bill and Melanie spent the weekend with us celebrating their wedding with a pre-honeymoon getaway, complete with our Lake Life Package. We couldn't resist adding a few extra touches to make their day even more memorable.

Brett created a custom "Just Married" sign, and we strung a trail of colorful beach balls behind the boat for a little extra fun. As they cruised around the lake, passing boaters and neighbors honked their horns, waved, and shouted congratulations. The smiles, laughter, and unexpected celebration from complete strangers made for an unforgettable afternoon—and a memory we'll all cherish.

Congratulations, Bill & Melanie! Thank you for letting us be a small part of the beginning of your next great adventure together. 💙

What's for breakfast? Warm Nectarine Blueberry Coffee Cake, and Spinach & Bacon Frittata with a hash brown crust. We have also been enjoying Classic Potato Pancakes, Sausage Roll and made-to-order eggs. The only thing missing at this beautifully set table is YOU! If you blink, you might mistake it for a hummingbird!

This fascinating visitor is actually a **hummingbird moth**—one of the many important pollinators that call our gardens home at Stag's Leap Farm B&B. As it hovers from flower to flower, it's doing the quiet work that helps our gardens, native plants, and local ecosystems thrive.

Our 4,000-square-foot pollinator garden was created to provide a haven for bees, butterflies, hummingbirds, hummingbird moths, and other beneficial pollinators throughout the growing season. It's just one of the many peaceful places our guests can explore during their stay.
