Milton F. “Toby” Fitch, Your New Senator for District 4 in the North Carolina General Assembly Today, former Judge Fitch was sworn into office to represent District 4 in the North Carolina Senate. Sen. Fitch brings a lifetime of experience and expertise to the appointment. He recently retired from his position as a Superior Court Judge for the 7th Superior Court District, a position he held for 16 years. Prior to serving on the Superior Court, he served nine l terms in the North Carolina House of Representatives, where he was elected as the first African-American House majority leader.
