The end of an era in Oxford Maine. Today we pulled out our big suspension bridge that crossed the little Androscoggin river on ITS 89. It was sad to see it go but we had a huge crew of great people helping us. Alot of jokes were said and stories told. This bridge was built in 1985 and revamped in 1990 and again in 2024. The Bumpus/Green bridge was her name. The end of something good can lead to the start of something great. We are working towards a new bridge in a new location. Still alot of details to work out so keep an eye out for updates. We are very grateful for the excellent help we received today from everyone involved!! Thank you all!!!

Trails are still not open. We will be working the next couple days and nights to be sure all signage is in place and that there are no downed trees. This club is 100% volunteers so please bear with us. I'll have another update soon

Our trails are not open. If and when they open, there will be no bridge across the little androscoggin river. This means ITS 89 will NOT connect through Oxford. There will also be no trail access to Hogan pond at this time and no access to mechanic falls from the big apple. We are really struggling with some landowner issues at this time. Wanna help? Join the club!

Hey gang there's the trails meeting in Rumford , Black mountain on December 30th at 10:30 a.m. , I'm hoping three or four of you would like to go with me, I'll be leaving my house at 9:30 for carpooling, can fit four in my truck, lunch will be on me. I have offered the same to the Norway club and hope they'll be enough to carpool with two cars , call me 838-0892, Jerry Major in case you didn't know that

We made the best of another low snow year. Lots of work ahead of us this summer with some potential large changes to our trail system.

First of all want to thank all the landowners who graciously allow us to use their property for the public to enjoy! Without your support there would not be great local riding!

As I'm wrapping up the grant reimbursement request I wanted to share some stats-

-Our volunteers spent 208.7 hours of their own time (some with their own equipment!) to groom the trails this season!! Thank you all!

-Our volunteers spent 270 hours (that were logged, actual figures likely close to 400hr) doing trail work outside of grooming. This includes signing, clearing and trimming trails, repairing bridges, putting snow fencing up and down to open and close the trail system for the year. Thank you to each and every one of you!!!
