Y'all if you love birdwatching, the Quintana Neotropical Bird Sanctuary is a hidden gem close to Quilly's Cozy Traveler. Marshes, wetlands, and all kinds of species passing through, especially in the cooler morning hours. A peaceful little detour worth the short drive. Have y'all explored it?

Nature lovers, this one's for you! 🦅🌿 San Bernard National Wildlife Refuge is just a short drive from Cozy Traveler and it is absolutely gorgeous — especially for bird watching. Roseate spoonbills, herons, alligators (from a safe distance 😅) — it's a whole ecosystem right here on the Texas coast. Who else loves a good nature refuge day?

Y'all — Surfside Beach is basically right in our backyard and it is STUNNING in July! 🏖️☀️ Wide open shoreline, great fishing, perfect for families or anyone who just needs their feet in the sand.
