So, what do you do at the coast on a day when fish are lurking in the river, but it’s just too stormy to fish? You get your gear ready!

We have a limited stock of the highly sought-after Scott Amerman’s Sprinkle Bite Stimulant and proven bait scents for the grand return of the Raines Resort Bait Station.

We open tomorrow morning with our first delivery of fresh sand shrimp, tuna bellies, and Pro-Cure bait scents. Located at the Woods Bridge in Pacific City. Let the Fall Salmon Season begin with a bang!

Today we celebrated the 98th birthday of June, the fearless lady who owned and ran Raines Resort for 40 years before passing the torch to us.

We were honored to be invited to the celebration and even got to try Indian Fried Bread for the first time—delicious! 😋

June is every bit as feisty and playful as she’s always been, and she still remembers all of her friends around the neighborhood. The last time I visited her, she told me, “Go tell them the old bitch of the Woods is still alive and kicking!” 😂 (Her words, not mine!)

Happy 98th Birthday, June! ❤️ Thank you for building the place we are so fortunate to call home. Raines Resort will forever carry your name, your spirit, and your footprints.

Anyone in PC has a couple of spare life jackets our guests can borrow for tomorrow (Tuesday 07/07/26)? They have their own dory boat but forgot to bring life jackets.

Safe to say after the grand finale at the Neskowin beach fireworks show, every coho within earshot packed its bags and headed offshore 😂 The dory boats heading out tomorrow are probably gonna have to run a little farther to find a few fish that haven’t been completely blown deaf and still feel like biting.
