We think it looks great!

✨🚧 We’re excited to announce that the Lighthouse Avenue Sidewalk Extension Project is substantially complete! 🎉 Funded via City’s Capital Improvement Plan ( ), this project focused on creating a safer, more walkable, and vibrant space for our community.

Here’s what we accomplished:
🔍 Scope of Work:
✅ Removed the wooden parklets
✅ Excavated and repaved the intersection
✅ Reconstructed curbs, gutters, sidewalks, crosswalks, and curb ramps
✅ Widened sidewalks and added safer bulb-out intersections
✅ Installed new metal picket fencing for outdoor seating, replaced trees, relocated light poles and street signs, and updated pavement markings

The only minor detail remaining is the installation of the tree grates!

This transformation improves pedestrian safety, accessibility, and overall streetscape aesthetics on Lighthouse Avenue. Thank you for your patience and support throughout construction. Let’s keep building a better Pacific Grove together! 💙👣
