Last Resort on the River Campground Last Resort on the River is a small and comfortable campground on the Blanco River off Highway 84 between Chama, New Mexico and Pagosa Springs, Colorado.

The Last Resort is a cozy RV Park on the Blanco River off Highway 84 between Chama, New Mexico and Pagosa Springs, Colorado. We have 23 full hook-up sites with 30 & 50 amp electric, water & sewer. Partial sites are available along the river with electric and water only. Our Bath House has a couch and games, a kitchen sink, microwave & coffee pot; men's and women's separate restroom, $5 for 8 minut

e showers, and coin operated washer & dryer. For outdoor recreation there are walking trails throughout the park, fishing in the pond or river, and playing at the beach! The outdoor rec area includes a volleyball net, horse shoes, corn hole, and other outdoor games. A newly renovated pavilion next to the pond for group gatherings. Open year-round. Pets welcome! Life is starting to return to normal around here... The Blanco Fire is over 90% contained, and we're all breathing a bit easier. On the bright side, we were able to work on the paths around the campground, even getting a few signs up during some of the downtime we had. We still have some sites available for Labor Day weekend. We’ll be hosting a pancake breakfast on the 5th and a game day on the 6th! Call us at 970-507-1651 to book your site!

Thank you to everyone who has reached out to check on us! We are under a pre-evacuation notice due to the fire. Thankfully, other than some smoke that seems to come and go, all is well here. We are sending our prayers to the firefighters who are on top of the fire and to the neighbors who have had to evacuate. We'll do our best to keep everyone posted!

We had our first Fourth of July, and what an amazing event it was! We had guests, friends, and neighbors come for Friday's Fiddles and Floats and Saturday's Grillin' in the Pavilion. Thank you to everyone who came, who brought something, and who helped with all the decorations! We even got some river time! Once again, we are so incredibly thankful for community! We had a guest share the most beautiful quote that has become sort of a motto for us...There are no strangers here; only friends you haven't met yet.
