We have exciting news to share! We are now a fully self sustaining off grid home! Our new solar panels are up and running. We will still be connected since our guests will likely use more than we can produce . However , we are excited to become more self reliant and partake in renewable energy.

This kiddo finally did it! The famous south point cliff jump! It’s said to be from. 40-60ft down. If you go and don’t see locals jumping or if it’s rough & you aren’t a great swimmer don’t jump! This day it was nice and calm .

This week, we showcase Southpoint famous green sand beach in Naalehu, situated at the southernmost point of Hawaii's big island. The location is reachable by undertaking a 3-mile hike or by navigating via four-wheel-drive vehicle along the rough road. We chose drive half way & walk the rest. Moreover, there is a cliff from which one can jump into the ocean, an experience we have not yet attempted.

Pololū Valley is this week's Big Island adventure feature. As the northernmost erosional valley on Kohala Mountain's east coast, it offers a steep, yet scenic, hike of less than three miles round trip.
