We are located just south of Bay City and north of Port Lavaca on the Tres Palacios Bay, part of the Matagorda Bay system, with easy access

to the Gulf of Mexico. Planned winter activities, wonderful summer fun, great fishing, bird watching, and more. All within walking distance to restaurants, stores and a 3-mile lighted, paved seawall.

Our Happy Hour today was followed by a delicious weiner roast at the VanWormer’s site. We celebrated Warren Riley’s birthday today as well. Happy birthday and many more, Warren! 🎂🥳

This evening our guests enjoyed a delicious St. Patrick’s Day potluck complete with corned beef, cabbage, and lots of extras. ☘️ Lots of food, fun, and friendship. 💚

Several Serendipity guests joined the Palacios Yacht Club for a joint evening meal of hamburgers and hotdogs on the grill plus our traditional Pi Day Celebration (3/14). Lots of good food and time spent with friends. 😊

Several campers attended the 82nd Annual Matagorda County Fair and Rodeo last night in Bay City. It’s always a fun evening of carnival food, good friends, and great entertainment. 🐂🐎

Last night we enjoyed a delicious Baked Potato Bar with all the fixins. Afterwards we watched Curt & Connie Lacina’s daughter, Kendra, win big on the Wheel of Fortune. Costa Rica, here she comes! As always , our thanks to all who helped and contributed to this event.

The Winter Senior Olympics were held on Wednesday at Serendipity Bay Rv Resort and Marina. Numerous creative competitions were held like the egg & spoon race, pong cups, trash can frisbee, and the pool noodle javelin throw. Several genuine imitation gold medals 🏅 were awarded to the victors. Thanks to Kathy VanWormer and her faithful support team for putting the “fun” in this fundamental competition. It was loads of fun. The athletes will be seen lifting weights (or glasses) at a happy hour very soon. 😉
