BREAKING LOW DESERT NEWS 📰: It’s hard to put into words just how extreme the heatwave coming to the IE and the Western US is going to be.

This truly ranks among the most extraordinary heatwaves the United States has ever seen.

📍Palm Springs has never had a March day get above 104°F. The current forecast is for 110°F on Friday, which would break the US all-time record for March by 2 degrees.

Head a little farther south into Coachella Valley, and the town of Thermal is forecast to reach 114°F, which would break the record for the hottest temperature ever recorded in the US in APRIL. And this would happen on March 20th.

This heatwave is the word “unprecedented” at its most literal.
