Our two boys were in a Show Choir event in Burbank, California, so we went and stayed in a hotel. It certainly reinforced my feelings about why people like Airbnb properties rather than hotels :)

I cannot praise this house and Poolside Vacation Rentals enough. This was by far the best house I've ever stayed at.
It began with excellent communication with the hosts. Any question I had they responded within 10 minutes! They checked in to see how we were doing without being overbearing. A++
Now...the house. It has everything in the listing and more. The decor was inviting and everything was clean. The kitchen had everything you could need. The beds were comfortable and there was an abundance of sheets, towels and blankets if needed.
The outdoor activities were great! The supplies were organized in bins and had more than we could ever need to enjoy the outdoors. Nothing was missing and so we had so much fun as a family without the disappointment of missing supplies. Unfortunately the weather wasn't the best for our visit but when there was sun we were outside. The heated pool was a must and I highly recommend doing that if visiting in winter.
I'm spoiled for all other houses!

“A great first impression!
We had a wonderful 3-night stay at Casa De La Paz. We booked the stay because of the pictures online and all of the activities it advertised. Upon our arrival, we were happy to find that it is really as nice in person as it is displayed in the pictures. It was beautifully decorated and promoted the mid-century Palm Springs vibe. They provided a detailed book about everything in the house and things to do and places to visit while in Palm Springs.
They’re mindful of the guest experience and that is apparent by provisions and amenities available. Other than the food that we cooked at the house, we didn’t have to buy or bring anything extra. Everything was provided even down to doggy bowls and treats!
The Backyard had fun & inviting outdoor gathering spaces & yard as well as a comfortable relaxing indoor atmosphere. It’s an ideal place for gathering with family and friends. Our 8 year old enjoyed the various outdoor activities, from the salt water pool with spa

We're always trying to improve our Airbnb property, even if it involves little things, hoping to provide for a better experience for our guests. For example, we just put in heaters in all three bathrooms along with new ceiling fans to control the moisture. In addition, we put in heated toilet seats in all three bathrooms so when you get up in the middle of the night, you're not shocked by a cold toilet seat :)

Stayed with kids
We loved our stay here! It was perfect for a mother, daughter, friend get away. The home was comfortable and the back yard was like our own private resort. My daughters enjoyed the pool and hot tub each day and relaxed on the pool floats and hammocks. The property management company was always available to answer any of our questions throughout our stay. They even surprised us with a special welcome gift during our stay. We would definitely stay here again!

Stayed with a pet
The house was perfect, it had a spacious inside and the backyard truly made our stay enjoyable. It was easy to relax but when we wanted to have fun they made it easy with the games and layout of the backyard. They were well equipped for everything at the house. They were very nice with us and responded very quick with any questions we had. They made the stay really easy. It was accesible for my 75 year old grandma which I really enjoyed. My family and I really had a great time staying here we cannot wait to go back and stay with Poolside Vacation again, we loved our experience!

We had a great stay. The pool was amazing. So nice to have. Spent a lot of time there. House was great for our family trip. Easy access to trails and downtown Palm Springs. Would recommend to other families with kids.

Group trip
We stayed at Poolside Vacation Rental's Casa De La Paz for a hockey tournament we had in Palm Springs. There were 7 of us in the house and we all slept comfortably.
The outdoor space was perfect to relax, recharge, and connect after games. It had anything anyone would need for a good time as a group.
The hosts were super helpful and responsive, as they were flexible with the pool temperature setting for the weekend, as well as responding to and addressing any questions/issues we ran into straight away.
Everyone loved our stay here, and we would 100% stay again on our return to Palm Springs, and highly recommend it to groups who enjoy cooking & spending time outside together.

We had a wonderful stay! Everything was clean and well supplied. Our hosts were very responsive and were so sweet to bring us treats during our stay. The house was very child friendly and we had tons to do so no one ever felt bored. The pool and hot tub heating are a must in the winter, it really made for a relaxing weekend. The linens and towels are plentiful and if you forget anything the hosts have well stocked amenities. This is such a beautiful property and so well kept. We hope to return to it for years to come!

What a really fun and great house. They have really outdone any house I've seen in regards to activities. The backyard is its own fun zone. The house itself was really well taken care of and they have everything you can need for a stay. The team at Poolside Vacation Rentals were great communicators and very easy to work with. If you're coming to Palm Springs with your family this is the perfect house to stay in.

Lots of changes at Casa De La Paz. First, we have a new management team and they are killing it. Second, we added a third bathroom that is in the game room. Third, we added a small workout and yoga room in the backyard, with queen sofa bed, Roku TV, and air conditioning. Please note that the photo that shows up on this post is NOT Casa De La Paz. May 13th Review: The house was great but the outside is awesome, lots of activities to keep everyone entertained, took my wife here for her birthday and she says it was her best birthday ever!! Something tells me we'll be coming back again, many thanks to the owner for allowing us to share their home!!

My family of 4 absolutely loved this property and everything it had to offer! We get Air BnBs all the time and this home was the best in terms of amenities, things to do, comfort and everything that was provided. We highly enjoyed the back yard and we were lucky with beautiful weather. The beds were super comfortable, my kids always had something to do and the home was very well decorated and equipped. They even provide bath robes! We will definitely be coming back next time we go to Palm Springs. Highly recommend!

Here is our most recent review in January 2024: I have stayed in 15 or more vacation rentals and wow, this one takes the cake. There's so much space for family to spread out when in between activities and so many different things to do at the home. My brother and I played pickleball and putt putt with nice dips in the pool and hot tub in between, my dad grilled out, my wife cozied up inside and watched movies, and we all had plenty of sleeping arrangements. There's a grocery store within walking distance and the airport was a very short car ride away. I loved our whole stay at this place and I've never felt so relaxed after a vacation with the whole family. If you're going to Coachella Valley, stay here!
