Once a Mom & Pop Boutique Hotel called the Desert Fountain Inn. It offered 14 rooms each with their own antique furnishings & individual tile flooring which might have been described as something similar to the famous Madonna Inn ( Central Coast) . The Inn later served as logging for individuals recovering from substance abuse at various intervals. In 2011 the La Fontaine group came in an dramatically modified the property to accommodate a clothing optional resort of which briefly operated from 2011-2012. The property was further improved in 2013 as the principal partners added new plumbing, infrastructure & remodeled 14 rooms. Since then the facility has accommodated a variety of business & seasonal clientele and will now continue in this capacity.
