If you are an art lover, I think you're going to want to come for this upcoming event in Joshua Tree. Joshua Tree, in case you didn't know, is in the high desert and is only a 45 minute drive from Palm Springs. The even is called HWY 62 ART Tours. the event consists of over 226 artists across 141 studios over three October weekends. Attendees get a map and drive from home studio to retail location to commercial lofts and other venues where artists show their art and offer food, drink, entertainment and more. I've been to the event and it is spectacular. You drive all around the high desert cities of Joshua Tree, Morongo Valley, Yucca Valley. And the event doesn't end at night. Art Tours after dark will happen and highlight performances from local community musicians. Headliners include Garth Brooks, Willie Nelson, Riley Green, Zach Top, Kelly Clarkson, Brothers Osborne, Florida Georgia Line and many other top country acts. Florida Georgia Line are reiniting and headed to the Stagecoach Country Music Festival. A new video shared at the festival's social media pages finds Tyler Hubbard and Brian Kelley all but committing to play the 2027 event. The 2027 event takes place April 23 - 25.

This just in...The 38th-annual Palm Springs International Film Festival (PSIFF) will take place January 7–18, 2027.

The Opening Night screening will be held on Friday, January 8, 2027. Closing Night will take place on Sunday, January 17, followed by ‘Best of the Fest’ screenings on Monday, January 18. One of the many world-class events in the Palm Springs area is the BNP Paribas Open. The tennis tournament takes place every March and is the best-attended tennis tournament outside the four Grand Slam tournaments (493,440 in total attendance during the 2024 event); it is often called the "fifth Grand Slam" in reference to this. This year's event takes place from March 1 - 15, and I just so happen to have amazing vacation homes available for some of those dates.
