It was a long cold winter, but spring is finally moving into the valley. There might still be snow south on the Kenai peninsula and north towards Denali, but the trees are greening up and the moose are having their calves around here. There have been at least two with brand new twins around the cabin the week so far!

It’s a beautiful morning here in the Knik River valley, great follow up to the amazing northern lights once agianlast night! The fall colors are still hanging on as well!
