We're reaching out to our neighbors and Palmer community members because we care about safety in our shared spaces.
Yesterday afternoon, a large truck towing a container sped through our motel/bike shop parking lot at an unsafe speed, damaging our safety mirror and fence.
Throughout the day, the bike shop team and customers were actively testing bikes in that lot. Motel guests and staff were walking through. This could have been tragic.
Our parking lot is closed to thru traffic — customers only. We posted NO THRU DRIVE signs weeks ago, but speeding through continues to be a problem.

To our community: Please respect these signs. This isn't about being difficult — it's about keeping people safe. Our employees, guests, and the bike shop team and customers deserve a space where they can work and move without fear.
