My rooms are fully furnished, with absolutely anything you need. Linens, towels, full use of the kitchen. This would be ideal for someone who is working locally temporarily,someone tired of motels, one whose marriage has ended and needs a place to land while you work things out.Or someone who wants company because the empty house is tough on you.No smoking or elephants are allowed in my house, both are okay outside. I am a widow, and I have lived in my home for over 45 years, with 3 very well behaved dogs and 1 spoiled rotten cat! Anyone living here needs to be an animal lover! I enjoy sharing my home, it helps pay the bills and gives me company. I have rented to many people and almost all of them truly enjoyed living here. References are very available upon request. I am a friendly, outgoing person, with a wicked sense of humor, who loves to make people feel at home. Palo is located about 8 miles from Cedar Rapids' easy access and very well maintained roads.We have the Pleasant Creek State Park north of town, and the Cedar River close for fishing and recreation. It is a small, quiet, safe town and my neighborhood is peaceful and friendly.All of my surrounding neighbors have also been here a very long time. Short or long term rentals available. But you truly do need to see my home to appreciate what I offer.
